Portland is a family-run business, with all properties owned by three brothers: Jeremy, Antony and Piers Nickalls. So you can be sure of the personal touch.
We all went to university in Newcastle and lived in these properties ourselves. We had a fantastic time here and hope you do too, with a great university experience you’ll remember all your life.

To make sure that’s the case, we have a trusted team of specialist plumbers, electricians and handymen that help us maintain our homes to a good standard. They are always on hand if anything needs fixing.
You’ll also be able to speak to us about any problems and we’ll ensure they’re taken care of personally. All we ask in return is that you look after our houses and respect the neighbours.
